As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

The article must contain the following sections: title page with author(s)’ affiliation(s) and contact information, abstract with at least 5 keywords, introduction, methodology, results, discussion or conclusion, references, and list of tables/figures.

 

The title should not be greater than 20 words. Avoid using acronyms or abbreviations, and non-alphanumeric symbols (except comma, colon, dash, slash, and apostrophe) in the title.

 

Provide the complete name(s) of the author(s) and their respective ORCID number(s), full name(s) of institution(s) and the mailing address, and email address (preferably using the institutional email domain, e.g., author@univ.edu.ph).

 

The abstract should be at least 200 words but not more than 300 words. It should contain a brief introduction of the research problem, methodology, significant findings, and conclusion.

 

The article submitted should follow the latest edition or format of the Scientific Style and Format of the American Psychological Association (APA). The manuscript should be double-spaced in 12-point Times New Roman font, including text, quotations, table titles, captions and notes in a letter-sized document (in .docx format) with one-inch margins on all sides, upper right corner pagination and five spaces indention. The paper should not exceed 30 pages including the tables and figures.

 

The literature cited in the text must appear in the list of references. Similarly, the listed reference must be found in the in-text citations. All references used must be peer-reviewed journal articles that can be found in Google Scholar, textbooks, or reputable web sources.
